 A couple of weeks after the Labor Day bash at Dragoncon, anime (Japanese cartoon) fans throughout the Southeast get their freak on at Anime Weekend Atlanta, aka AWA. Held at the Cobb Gallerie in Atlanta, a city near Roswell, AWA boasts 15,000 or so attendees who dress as their favorite anime characters (see above) and watch anime videos, meet anime voice over stars, attend anime related events and generally have a great deal of fun.
